Kuro Feathers

Yay, I finally uploaded something 3D! Ok... some random feathers... that I created... cuz i felt like it. This was originally a feather that I found on an image search, and traced in Illustrator. I used that for a sig that I made (I haven't actually used said sig yet though). I decided for something to do, I'd import the paths into 3ds max and make a 3D pile of feathers (as I had made a 2D one in Illustrator). Anyway, so all I really did was Extrude the paths to make them 3D, use a Bend Modifier to give the feathers a slight arc (so they'd appear less flat), then use an array to make a stack of them. It was a really simple piece that didn't take very long... I just thought it came out really cool in the end.

Also... I realize that what I just said probably went over most of your heads... trust me though, it's all pretty basic stuff.

Oh, and Kuro means black or dark in Japanese... just figured I'd through that out for those of you that don't know this (and I was too lazy too look up the Japanese word for feathers).
